AncestryDNA launched a new feature yesterday together with updated ethnicity estimates. SideView technology sorts out which ethnicities you inherited from each parent. The resulting information is provided in ethnicity inheritance charts. Very cool innovation!

Never knew until recently that I have a sixth great-grandparent of Dutch descent. The problem with the ethnicity estimate from Ancestry is they group Netherlands under 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 & 𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘸𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘌𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦.
